Statement

Hello

​

I was born in Santiago de Chile, the 23 rd of April 1961, I'm Chilean also Italian.
​Because of the different circumstances in my life, I have lived in different countries. I left Chile in my early teens, moved to West Berlin at that time and stayed for 28 years after the unity of Germany living in Stuttgart and currently in Neckargemünd, Heidelberg. In between, I lived in Potosi, Bolivia and 10 years in Ireland.
 

A full pallet of colours, tastes, smells are living in me.

The comparison of cultures, lifestyles, values, beliefs, weather, landscapes, habits… etc…is one of the reasons that move me to create.
Bit by bit I have learned to see the things in life like they are, and not how I want them to be.

I did the course in ceramics in Italy and Germany, which I love.
I couldn’t say which is my favorite media I love drawing and painting as expressions of fine transmission.
Nevertheless, the power of plaster and clay is also a mystery to me. I will see what direction the work takes by its own. I love to investigate and prove with different materials in combine materials.
I used to play the Cello that helps me also to get more sensitive in my life.

In the end, no matter which media I use...the thing that I know, is that

I have a lot of things to say.
